Photo of the Week: Welcome first day of spring!Welcome first day of spring!

L’Ardoise – After a brutal winter, we can start looking forward to the day where the wind will be warm again and green grass will take over, replacing the cold white snow… Today’s forecast calls for clearing skies and local blowing snow early this morning, wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 20 this afternoon. High minus 5. Not bad for the first day of spring. But, Environment Canada says the next weather system to affect storm weary nova scotians is forecast to arrive Saturday afternoon and extend into Sunday morning as two low pressure systems merge over the Maritimes. Oh well, this will only make us appreciate it more when we can feel that spring is finally in the air.
