Photo of the Week: November 21-2014

Photo of the Week: L'Ardoise Photo of the week: L’Ardoise – The Black Bridge off of Chapel Cove Rd is getting close to be flooded . Because of the rain, the water level of the ponds reached the beam of the bridge and a bit more, crossing this bridge would require a good pair of rubber boots or maybe a pair of hip waders!

If you’d like to keep track of the weather conditions in L’Ardoise, located on the southeast shore, check out the Cape Breton Living webcams by clicking on this link: http://www.capebretonliving.com/webcam/ or simply clicking on the Cape Breton webcams link on the Menu Bar above.

  1. Beautiful though, I used to live just up the road from here. The ocean waves sent me to sleep every night in the Summer. Miss Cape Breton very much, coming home in 2015, can’t wait.

  2. Thanks Mearie, hopefully we won’t get too much more rain and the water in the ponds will go down before it freezes for the winter!
