Cape Breton Photo of the Week: St Peter’s Lobsterfest

Cape Breton Living Photo of the Week: St Peter's LobsterfestSt Peter’s, Cape Breton Island

This week, Jim Lucas is sharing this awesome photo with us. It was taken a couple of weeks ago while on the water with the Lobsterfest event in St Peter’s. The photo is of St. Peters in the background with fishermen catching Mackeral in the foreground.

Lobsters R’ Us Seaside Lobsterfest is an annual celebration of a long standing tradition of lobster fishing in the Municipality of Richmond County. “Music, food, community and family fun awaits you in our little slice of heaven where the ocean meets the inland sea.”

Jim sent 2 other photos of his experience at the St Peter’s Lobsterfest, which I’m sharing it here also.

The next photo is of the “demonstration” trapping with an orange lobster. The last one is of Jim holding an 8 pounder.
