L’Ardoise – Here, we are standing on the road to the ball field looking at the small bridge on Chapel Cove Rd that leads to the upper road that is also known as the Fleur-de-Lis Trail. In these ponds, ducks with their families are often spotted, along with many marshland inhabitants. The Great Blue Heron is one bird that you might just see wading in the tall grass with its long stilt-like legs.
