Crossing over the Causeway brings me back to my first visit to this beautiful place. It was 1980, a road trip from Toronto with a Cape Bretoner that I had met in Ottawa. Two weeks of experiencing life on Cape Breton Island made me come back for more… and two years later made it my home.
