St Peter’s – A snapshot of Grenville St as we head towards the St Peter’s Canal bridge. If we continue down the street, just around the bend we would get to the single lane swing bridge. In 2016, construction of a new two-lane swing bridge will begin, with the new structure replacing the old single lane bridge. Located on Route 4, this bridge is nearing the end of its life cycle, a new two-lane bridge is definitely needed and will improve the flow of traffic through the village of St Peter’s, especially during the busy summer months.
