  1. I left L’Ardoise in 1960 to join the army and in 1962 I believe the old church burned down. Sharon Robertson who is my cousin showed me a picture of the church burning and in the flames you could see the face of Jesus. I am hoping that someone in the parish might have a copy of that picture they could copy and send it to me by email. I now live in Lincoln , N.B. just outside Fredericton.

    1. Harry, I remember seeing a photo of the old church fire of 1972, but not sure where I’ve seen it. I’ll keep an eye out and ask around.
