Cape Breton Living Photo of the Week: Blue Heron

L’Ardoise, Cape Breton – Blue Heron wading in one of the ponds on Chapel Cove Rd. This suave looking bird stayed put long enough for a few decent photo shots. It’s not too often this happens, unless you have an ultra zoom telephoto lens. Or that you sneak up without them catching you. This time I was lucky to catch this one in deep concentration for its morning catch, which was a success. It still would have been nice to have that telephoto lens though.
